I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Arts Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 10-5-3.

APPOINTEE NAME TERM Lisa “Rusty” K. Goetz July 31, 2029 Albuquerque, NM 87123 Rusty returned to Albuquerque in 2019 after traveling and working throughout the United States and around the world. The natural beauty of New Mexico, the state’s rich and complex history, and Albuquerque’s vibrant arts community drew her back to the city where she began her career in 1977. Rusty appreciates Albuquerque’s unique character and the distinct personality found throughout its neighborhoods. She is especially passionate about the city’s commitment to public art and the thoughtful preservation of its historic sites. She hopes to contribute her experience and perspective to help protect and further develop Albuquerque’s dynamic arts community while ensuring that it remains accessible for everyone to enjoy. A resident of Council District 9, Lisa “Rusty” K. Goetz will replace Teisha Holloway and serve as the Council District 9 representative on the board; Her first term will expire on July 31, 2029. |
