I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Affordable Housing Committee in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Resolution
No. R-06-159, Enactment No. 2007-011.

Ms. Matthew B. Butkus June 1, 2021 303 Central Ave NE, Apt. 203 Albuquerque, NM 87102 Matthew Butkus currently works for the City of Albuquerque’s Metropolitan Redevelopment Agency where he focuses on infill development, of both housing and commercial properties, in areas designated for redevelopment. He has been involved in the real estate industry for since 2004, holds a Real Estate Qualifying Brokers License in New Mexico and is a co-owner of Inhabit Real Estate Collaborative, a local brokerage. Matthew is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and currently serves on the Management Committee for the New Mexico Chapter. Matthew has a Master’s Degree in Community and Regional Planning from the School Of Architecture and Planning at the University of New Mexico, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico. A resident of Council District 2, Mr. Butkus will serve as the Planning Department representative on the Committee, replacing Ms. Rebecca D. Velarde whose term expires June 1, 2018. His first term will expire June 1, 2021. |
