I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Affordable Housing Committee in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Resolution
No. R-06-159, Enactment No. 2007-011.

Mr. Matthew Pinson June 1, 2024 331 Cuadro Street SE Albuquerque, NM 87123 For many years Mr. Pinson has been an advocate for homeless individuals, many of whom are elderly and often cannot access care and housing in the same manner as younger individuals can. Mr. Pinson understands that the needs of the elderly are not the same as the needs of others and has worked diligently in his experience at homeless non-profits to assist them in a thoughtful and timely manner. Mr. Pinson's experience working with the elderly and his experience with benefits and Social Security applications makes him a prime candidate for this position. A resident of Council District 9, Mr. Pinson will serve as the Senior Citizens Advocate Representative on the Committee. His first term will expire June 1, 2024. |
