Mr. Gonzalez is a 32-year resident of Albuquerque. Before starting his own business, a small media company called MarAbí Productions, Inc., he was a teacher in public and parochial schools. He has served on various City commissions and task forces, including two terms as a commissioner on the Environmental Planning Commission. Mr. Gonzalez is on the boards of both the Huning Highlands Neighborhood Association (Vice President) and the EDo (East Downtown) Neighborhood Association. He currently also serves on the board of AmparoNM, an organization that provides stop-gap funding to APS families to prevent eviction. |

A resident of Council District 2, Mr. González, will replace Mr. Robert Nelson and serve as a Resident Representative on the Board; his partial term will expire on April 15, 2026. |
