I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Albuquerque Development Commission in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance
14-8-6-2.

Mr. Mahoney is an experienced real estate developer with 50 years of experience in developing a variety of real estate projects including a 550 acre master planned community in Santa Fe, NM; 500 residential lots in New Mexico and Montana; a medical office building in Santa Fe, NM and redeveloping a downtown office building in Albuquerque, NM. He has held a New Mexico real estate license since 1974. He is the current president of the New Mexico Zia Chapter of Lambda Alpha International, the Society of Land Economics.
A resident of Council District 1, John Mahoney will fill a vacancy and serve as an At-Large representative on the Commission; His first term will expire on October 31, 2029.
