I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Americans with Disabilities Act Advisory Council in accordance with the City of Albuquerque
Ordinance 2-6-5-1; 2-6-5-5.

Ms. Fadul has been living as a Hard of Hearing Individual since she was 5 years old. Currently, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Mexico, Nevada, and Alabama. She is a doctoral student at the University of New Mexico Counselor Education and Supervision program. Her research focus at UNM is on Disabilities, Hard of Hearing mental health, accessibility, and BIPOC Mental Health. Ms. Fadul has been a counselor since 2011. She looks forward to an opportunity to work with the city of Albuquerque on advocating for those living with a disability. As a resident of Council District 2, Ms. Griego will serve as an individual with a disability representative on the Council. She will be replacing Mr. Travis Davis whose term expired on 10/30/2022. |
