Ms. Lam N. Ho July 31, 2028 Albuquerque, NM 87110 Lam Ho is a climate advocate, writer, and book lover. She serves as a communications manager for a parks nonprofit, where she uses the power of storytelling to create avenues for meaningful action. Her writing can be found on Maudlin House and Kinsman Quarterly, where she was recognized as the first runner-up for their Winds of Asia Award. What fills her cup the most is facilitating and participating in book clubs. During her time in Atlanta, she led a literary fiction book club with high engagement for two years, attracting professors, publishers, and writers to a safe space where their minds were challenged and opened to new, global mindsets. In all that she does, she prioritizes supporting local businesses, human rights, and the road to a healthy environment for all. She is seeking ways to contribute to Albuquerque and put roots down. Lam would like to make books and reading more accessible, creating a safe environment for community members to enjoy our libraries. Lam N. Ho will serve as an At-Large representative; her first term will expire on July 31, 2028. |
