Adopting The FY2026 - FY2027 Two-Year Urban Enhancement Trust Fund Program And Appropriating Funds For The Urban Enhancement Program’s Projects (Peña, by request)

WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Urban Enhancement Trust Fund Board have

formulated the Urban Enhancement Program for the City of Albuquerque, in

conformance with Sections 4-2-1-1 through 4-2-1-3 ROA 1994; and

WHEREAS, the development of the Urban Enhancement Program describes

the proposed uses of the Urban Enhancement Trust Fund (“UETF”) earnings anticipated during the upcoming two fiscal years; and

WHEREAS, the Two-Year Program’s projects will significantly benefit the

      quality of life of the City of Albuquerque.                     

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF

ALBUQUERQUE:

Section 1. That the UETF Board shall work with the Department of Arts and Culture to develop the Resiliency Residence III program for artists, including fiscal sponsorship funding criteria, application requirements, and final award amount for each artist, in a manner that furthers the diversity, equity, inclusion and access initiatives undertaken within the UETF funding framework, as part of the FY26-27 regular funding cycle.

Section 2. That the Two-Year program, FY2026 and FY2027, for the Urban

Enhancement projects is approved.

Section 3. That the following project funds are hereby appropriated as

indicated below and that the project descriptions as attached may only be amended as provided in Section 2-12-5 ROA 1994:
