Graduated Los Alamos High School, Graduated Michigan State University BS , Worked as a VISTA Volunteer, Worked in commercial construction in NM for 40 years (started as a carpenter and finished as a project Superintendent) and retired in 2010. Now working with small farmers building hoop houses, tool sheds, chicken coops, shade structures, etc. Mr. Meaders hikes with and drives for the Albuquerque Senior Center Hiking Group. Lead several weeklong Service Trips each year. He has been a lifelong outdoorsman. He has backpacked in many areas of this state and surrounding states. He has worked on trail, maintenance here in New Mexico and in several other states. He is very interested in public access and preservation of special areas. |

A resident of Council District 6, Mr. Meaders will replace Mr. Tony Johnson and serve as the At-Large representative; his first term will expire on September 30, 2028. |
