I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the Balloon
Museum Board of Trustees in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 10-4-5-1.

APPOINTEE NAME TERM Stephanie Anderson Pugash July 31, 2029 Belvedere Tiburon, CA 94920 Stephanie Anderson Pugash is a founding family member of the Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum. She brings extensive experience in the ballooning community and a strong record of civic involvement. She grew up in Albuquerque, attended Valley High School, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah. During her time living in Albuquerque, she received the first Maxie Award, now discontinued, for her efforts to help secure the International Arabian Horse Show, which generated significant revenue for the city. Although she now resides in California, she has remained actively engaged with the Museum and its mission. Stephanie Anderson Pugash has served for many years on the library board in her local community and on committees for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and her local schools. She also has extensive personal experience in ballooning, having traveled throughout the world ballooning with her late father. She has expressed a strong commitment to the continued success of the Museum. Her longstanding connection to the Museum, family history, ballooning experience, and civic service make her a strong addition to the Board. Stephanie is being appointed at the request of the Anderson family to succeed Michael Anderson in the Maxie Anderson Family Ex-Officio appointment; her term will expire on July 31, 2029. |
