Mr. Chris J. Green, PLA, ASLA, LEED AP, Principal, has over 28 years of experience in the implementation of all phases of the landscape design process, including the design of over fifty park or recreational complexes. He has vast experience in managing design teams on large-scale recreational projects, and facilitating public input on such projects. He has practiced sustainable site and landscape design for many years and is a LEED Accredited Professional. His goal is the thoughtful and provocative design of our outdoor spaces for people to socialize and recreate. Some of his City projects include the ongoing improvements to Balloon Fiesta Park, including the Sid Cutter Pilot’s Landing Pavilion and the Balloonists’ Tribute Area, the Albuquerque Baseball Complex, Vista del Norte Community Park, Ventana Ranch Community Park, North Domingo Baca Community Park and Multi-Generation Center, Manzano Mesa Community Park and Multi-Generation Center, Taylor Ranch/Don Newton Community Center, and the Seven Bar Town Center Park and Ride Facility. Other recreation projects of note include A Park Above, a universally accessible park for the City of Rio Rancho, and Anesi Park, a nature oriented park and trail system for the City of Farmington. Mr. Green earned a Bachelor of Science in Design with an emphasis in Landscape Architecture from Arizona State University. Mr. Green is a Professional Landscape Architect in New Mexico (#234), Arizona (#25620), and Texas (#2595). He is a Member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and currently serves as the Trustee of the New Mexico Chapter. Mr. Green resides in Council District 7 and will fill an At Large vacancy on this board. His term will expire May 1, 2019. |
