Dr. Quirk is a professional engineer who manages the Radiation Modeling and Metrology Department at Sandia National Laboratories. He is a Fellow of the World Nuclear University, spent two years working in Vienna, Austria for the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty Organization, and is active in both the French-American Foundation and the Australian-American Leadership Dialogue. In addition to advocating for sensible energy policies he takes great pride in science outreach at all levels of education in our community. He brings a global perspective, an engineer's creative problem solving and a diplomatic approach to consensus building to each endeavor he pursues. |
