Mr. Mark S. Reynolds December 31, 2027 Albuquerque, NM 87109 Mark grew up in Albuquerque, NM, after moving from Brawley, CA, in 1960. His father worked at Sandia Labs, and his mother in healthcare. He graduated from Manzano High School in 1973 and served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1973-1979, working in AUTOVON, the Air Force’s telecommunications system. After an honorable discharge, he worked in IT at MRL Fabrication, then at NM Tech from 1983 to 2002, and at UNM from 2002 to 2022, retiring after 40 years in higher education and 52 years in telecommunications. Mark has been active in various boards and committees, including Big Brother, President of District 4 Coalition, NM Honor Flight, IOT City Committee, and UNM Staff Council, advocating for staff concerns and needs. A resident of Council District 4, Mr. Reynolds will fill a vacancy and serve as a City Representative on the Council, his first term will expire December 31, 2027.
