APPOINTEE NAME                                                                                                                              TERM

Alma Domingo                                                                                                                                                   February 2, 2029

As a disabled Army veteran, Ms. Domingo brings a sense of passion to her work with people who have mental illness. Through her work as a Rating Veteran Service Representative (Rater), a role that evaluates veterans and matches them with the services they need, she understands how important it is to be detail-orientated in her work. Ms. Domingo’s attention to detail allows veterans to get the services they need.  As a strong believer in Specific Measurable Achievable Relevant and Time Bound (SMART), a framework used to guide goal setting, Ms. Domingo works to create an environment where building rapport is important. Ms. Domingo intends to bring the same passion, spirit of commitment and due diligence to the CPOAB when reviewing cases to determine if policy changes could be recommended, and when evaluating policing.

As a volunteer at the Rape Crisis Center of Central New Mexico and with Paws and Stripes, serving on the CPOAB would add another layer to a person who is passionate about the community she serves.

Ms. Domingo has a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy and an MBA in Human Resources and is currently working on completing her Master’s in Social Work.
