I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the Library
Advisory Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 10-6-1.

Alec Claude Mullet July 31, 2027 Albuquerque, NM 87121 Alec Mullet has been a resident of Albuquerque since the summer of 2018. He got his undergraduate degree in Secondary Education at the University of New Mexico, and has been teaching since he graduated in 2024. Currently, he is a tutor with Tutor Doctor, and the Volunteer Campaign Lead with Food & Water Watch. Alec approaches his volunteer and teaching responsibilities with a sense of advocacy for his community, and self-reflection to improve his capabilities. He is also confident and capable when it comes to communication with legislative officials -- whether it be with city council, the state legislature, or federal legislative district aides. Lastly, he is also confident in his ability to maintain the library's social media presence to raise awareness for library resources and events, if the need for that skill arises. Alec Claude Mullet will fill a vacancy and serve as the Council District 1 representative; his first term will expire on July 31, 2027. |
