Mercedes Metzgar is a young professional currently working in Career Services at the University of New Mexico's Anderson School of Management. She is passionate about community-focused relationship-building and believes strongly in the power of uplifting young people to create lasting impact. Mercedes has a deep appreciation for STEM education and research. This is complimented with a lifelong love of the arts, valuing creativity as a cornerstone of both personal and community expression. Mercedes brings authenticity and inclusivity to every space she's part of, striving to connect people and ideas in meaningful ways.
Mercedes will fill a vacant seat and will serve as the At-Large Representative on the Board; their first term will expire January 1, 2029.
