Volunteerism-and recognizing those who give their time-is personal to me. I grew up watching community service modeled at a young age, and it set the foundation for how I show up as a community member. Across our city, thousands of people are sharing their time, skills, and talents to strengthen their communities. It's truly an honor to work with the Volunteers Advisory Board to ensure these incredible community members are celebrated for going above and beyond. It would mean the world to me to have the opportunity to continue this work and continue the promotion of community involvement and recognition of outstanding volunteerism throughout the City.
My time with the ABQ Volunteers Advisory Board has allowed me to contribute to the City through the following volunteer activities:
Guest Chef, Ronald McDonald House (2025 - Present)
Donation Room Sorter, Locker #505 Student Clothing Bank (2024 - Present)
In addition to the volunteer activities above, I have been actively involved in the Board's Community of Practice and Mayor's Day Committees.
Farm Volunteer, Mandy's Farm (2025 - Present)
A resident of Council District 4, Miriam McIntosh will continue to serve as an At Large Representative; their second term will expire on April 18, 2029.
