Dr. Pruett grew up in Albuquerque, is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy and combat veteran. She has served as Chair of the Medical Control Board (MCB) for almost 8 years now and currently works as an emergency medicine physician and associate professor at UNM hospital and the medical director for AFR. She has successfully helped implement and develop EMS guidelines, prehospital research initiatives and hospital collaborative efforts for emergency management. She is double boarded in emergency medicine and EMS and has received several local and national awards for teaching and leadership. |

A resident of Council District 4, Dr. Kimberly M. Pruett will continue to serve as an Emergency Medical Director Representative; Her fourth term will expire on August 15, 2027. |
