Amending R-25-169 To Extend The Deadline For Implementation Of A Working Web-Based Tool For Use When Submitting A Comprehensive Plan Analysis For Relevant Legislative Items (Bassan)

WHEREAS, R-25-169, Enactment No. R-2025-057, adopted by the Albuquerque City Council on September 3, 2025 and enacted on September 17, 2025, requires a Comprehensive Plan Analysis for certain legislative items; and
WHEREAS, R-25-169, Enactment No. R-2025-057 directs the Administration to work with Council Planning staff to develop a web-based tool that allows for efficient generation of Comprehensive Plan Analyses and for storage of all CPA data for the purpose of updating Table 14-3: Policy Implementation Action Matrix for the 5 and 10 year Comprehensive Plan updates; and
WHEREAS, R-25-169, Enactment No. R-2025-057 directs that the web-based tool be working and available for City staff to use within 90 days following adoption; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Department, the Department of Technology & Innovation, and Council Planning staff have worked since September to establish needs and specifications for the required tool; and
WHEREAS, additional time is needed to develop an optimal and fully functioning web-based tool for the purposes established by R-25-169, Enactment No. R-2025-057.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
ALBUQUERQUE:
SECTION 1. The original 90-day deadline contained in Section 3 of R-25-169, Enactment No. R-2025-057 is hereby extended by 90 days. The Administration and Council Planning Staff shall have a working web-based tool for City staff to use when submitting CPAs for relevant legislative items as required by R-25-169 within 90 days from the effective date of this Resolution.
