John Gauthier is a housing and community services professional with a proven record of leadership in affordable housing, service coordination, and grant management. He serves as the Housing Services Director at the Albuquerque Housing Authority, where he oversees housing voucher programs and a range of resident services. His career shows a strong focus on support services and program development, emphasizing person centered and trauma informed housing services, staff oversight, and relationships with key partners. His foundation in direct service as a Case Manager and Housing and Services Coordinator gives him a clear understanding of challenges and opportunities in the field.
A resident of Council District 7, Mr. John M. Gauthier will fill a vacancy and serve as the Department of Family and Community Services - Albuquerque Housing Authority representative on the Committee; his first term will expire June 1, 2028.
