I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Veterans and Military Affairs Advisory Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque
Resolution R-01-325, Enactment No. R-2001-141.

Mr. Booth is a veteran, mediator, and active member of the community. As a retired Air Force officer having last served at Kirtland AFB in the 58th SOW as an instructor CSO he has 25 years of military experience to draw from. Mr. Booth served multiple combat tours and has been stationed in Albuquerque three times. He is a member of the NM Veterans Business Advocates and volunteers as a mentor with Bernalillo County Metro Community Veteran's Court. His experience in conflict resolution and solution based negotiation will be valuable to the boards mission.
A resident of Council District 5, Mr. Joseph S. Booth will serve the remainder of an unexpired term as an At-Large member on the Board; his partial term will expire on September 2, 2025.
