Affordable Housing Committee in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Resolution

Ms. Huval has twenty years of experience leading policy and programmatic initiatives related to affordable housing and brings a deep understanding of the affordable housing landscape in New Mexico. She has served in leadership roles in both the nonprofit and government sectors and has a master's degree in Community and Regional Planning from UNM. Ms. Huval joined Homewise in 2023 as the Senior Director of Real Estate Development and recently moved into a new role as Chief Government Affairs Officer. Prior to joining Homewise, Ms. Huval served as the Deputy Director of Housing and Homelessness with the City of Albuquerque and as Associate Director with the NM Coalition to End Homelessness.
A resident of Council District 8, Ms. Lisa Huval will serve the remainder of an unexpired term as the Housing Lending Industry on the Committee; her first term will expire June 1, 2026.
