I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Human Rights Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 11-3-4-1 through
11-3-6.

Mrs. Andujo moved to Albuquerque, NM in October 2004 and considers it home. She put herself through college at the age of 32 while raising 2 daughters. Her goal was to graduate with her degree before her oldest graduated high school, she did so by three (3) days! Granted it took her six (6) years but she earned 2 associates and a bachelor's degree all the while working full time and attending school full time. She has volunteered with AmeriCorps Vista through the Mayor's office and has served on the City's Transit Board.

A resident of Council District 6, Mrs. Andujo will fill a vacancy and serve as an At Large representative on the Board; her first term will expire December 31, 2025.
