I am submitting for your advice and consent changes to the member representative position for Lodgers’ Tax Advisory Board appointed member Ms. Leah Nauman (Black) in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 4-4-13.
The City of Albuquerque Lodgers’ Tax Advisory Board ordinance, § 4-4-13, specifies terms and appointments to the Board, including member representation for the following sectors: Lodging Industry, Short-Term Rentals, Tourist-Related industry, and two at-large.
EC 21-437: Appointed Ms. Leah Nauman (Black) to her second term as a Tourist-Related Industry representative. Since being reappointed, Ms. Nauman has had a change in employment, no longer leading the New Mexico Brewers Guild. Ms. Nauman is, however, an operator of short-term rental properties. This communication is to change Ms. Nauman from serving as the Tourist-Related Industry Representative to the Short-Term Rental Representative on the Lodgers’ Tax Advisory Board for the remainder of her second term.
