Mayor’s appointment of Mrs. Louanne Byrd to the Arts Board
body
I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Arts Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 10-5-3.

APPOINTEE NAME TERM Mrs. Louanne Byrd July 31, 2024 Los Ranchos, NM 87107 Mrs. Byrd is a lifelong New Mexican and artist who has dedicated many years of service to various organizations to benefit the community overall. Mrs. Byrd has a deep appreciation for the joy, emotion and beauty in art and believes it can be a source of pride for the community, while also serving as an opportunity to uplift and bring people together. Mrs. Byrd brings passion and positivity to every organization in which she is a part of as a dedicated community leader. Mrs. Byrd, who is not a resident of Albuquerque, will serve as an at-large representative on the board, replacing Mrs. Margaret (Peg) Cronin. Her first term will expire July 31, 2024. |
