I am submitting the following name for re-appointment to the Albuquerque Arts Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 10-5-3.

Ms. Emilie De Angelis is the principal and Owner for Serafina Company, an independent fundraising and communications practice that helps nonprofit organizations locally and national to realize game-changing ambitions. For more than 25 years she has helped nonprofits in the museum, arts, culture, and education fields connect with donors and achieve major milestones. Before starting her own consulting practice, Ms. De Angelis led development programs at the Art Institute of Chicago, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and Steppenwolf Theatre. She is a fourth-generation New Mexican who returned to New Mexico with her husband and son in 2016 to reunite with family and rediscover sunshine.
Ms. De Angelis resides in Council District 7 and will continue to serve as the City Council District 7 Representative on the Arts Board. Her term will expire July 31, 2024.
