I am submitting for your advice and consent changes to the member representative positions for Commission on American Indian and Alaska Native Affairs appointed members Kim Benally and Dr. Lloyd Lee.

 

The City of Albuquerque Commission on American Indian and Alaska Native Affairs ordinance, § 2-6-6-3, specifies terms and appointments to the Commission, including member representation for the following sectors: education, health, workforce/employment, environment, government and culture, and three at-large.

 

EC 20-187:  Appointed Ms. Kim Benally to a first term as the Workforce/Employment Representative.  Since being appointed, Ms. Benally has had a change in employment. This communication is to change Ms. Benally from serving as the Workforce/Employment Representative to an At-Large Representative on the Commission on American Indian and Alaska Native Affairs for the remainder of her first term.

 

EC 19-517:   Appointed Dr. Lloyd Lee to a second term on the Commission on American Indian and Alaska Native Affairs as an At-Large Representative.  Given Dr. Lee’s background and experience as an educator, the Commission has requested that Dr. Lee serve as the Education Representative.  This communication is to change Dr. Lloyd Lee from serving as an At-Large Representative to the Education Representative on the Commission on American Indian and Alaska Native Affairs for the remainder of his second term.
