AMENDING THE ADOPTED CAPITAL IMPLEMENTATION PROGRAM OF THE CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE BY APPROVING NEW PROJECTS AND CHANGING THE SCOPE OF EXISTING PROJECTS RELATING TO DISTRICT 2 COUNCIL NEIGHBORHOOD SET-ASIDES.
WHEREAS, the Capital Implementation Program of the City of Albuquerque is governed by the requirements established under Section 2-12-4 ROA, 1994, which provides for amendments to the approved program; and
WHEREAS, the Council adopted Resolution C/S R-21-128 which approved the programming of funds and projects for the 2021-2030 Decade Plan for Capital Improvements including $9,000,000 for Council Neighborhood Set-Asides; and
WHEREAS, Exhibit A to Resolution C/S R-21-128 included the individual project budgets and descriptions for the Council Neighborhood Set-Asides; listed per City Council district; and
WHEREAS, the Councilor for District 2 wishes to make available Council Neighborhood Set-Aside funding for additional community enhancement projects that benefit the district; and
WHEREAS, appropriation of these funds to this project are timely and necessary for the City to serve its citizens.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE:
SECTION 1. That Exhibit A to C/S R-21-120 entitled “2021 GO Bond Program Councilor Set-Asides” is hereby amended as follows:
A. On page 1, Council District 2 Set Aside section, delete the section entitled “Parks and Recreation.”
B. On page 2, Council District 2 Set Aside section, line entitled “Senior, Family, Community Center and Community Enhancement,” increase the amount to $500,000.
