Mayor's re-appointment of Ms. Maxine Paul to the Joint Air Quality Board

I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for re-appointment to the Joint
Air Quality Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 9-5-1-3.

Maxine has worked in the public, private and non-profit sectors in environmental science and policy in New Mexico for the last decade. Since 2016, she has overseen a growing environmental remediation division at the Pueblo of Santa Ana, including the creation of an air quality control program and a brownfields response program. Among previous positions, she has worked for the state's air quality bureau major source permitting section. She has a Master's in Water Resources from UNM and a Bachelor's in Environmental Science from Columbia University.
A resident of Council District 2, Ms. Paul will continue to serve as a City of Albuquerque representative on the Board, and her second term will expire on April 1, 2024.
