I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Arts Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 10-5-3.

APPOINTEE NAME TERM Mrs. Paulette Marie Atencio July 31, 2023 3908 Rock Dove Trail NW Albuquerque, NM 87120 Mrs. Atencio has been working as a professional storyteller/published author, workshop provider/keynote speaker and educator for twenty-seven years. She has traveled throughout the United States and abroad. Her talents, support, enthusiasm, and love for the arts were instilled since a young age. She is very aware of artists, programs advertising of events and the need for funding. She will do an outstanding job. She is a people person and very well-known and well received where ever she goes. Mrs. Atencio, a resident of Council District 1, will serve as the district’s representative, replacing Mr. Jonathan M. Sanchez whose second term has expired. Her first term will expire July 31, 2023. |
