Biological Park Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque

Mr. Jon Sanchez March 1, 2024 Albuquerque, NM 87120 Marketing professional and poster artist Jon Sanchez was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jon is a creative, award-winning, versatile marketing artist with more than 15 years of progressive experience in graphic design, layout, social media and website management. He is accomplished in collaboration, creative development, project development, marketing strategies, branding identity and advertising design. Jon also illustrates, designs and screen-prints limited edition posters. These posters are hand drawn, hand-pulled and have been showcased in galleries and sold nationwide. Some of Jon's awards include the official tote design for Seattle's Bumbershoot music festival, and his artwork has been accessioned into the Albuquerque Museum's permanent collection. Jon also showcases his work in both the Hispanic Arts Exhibition at Expo New Mexico, and Contemporary Hispanic Market in Santa Fe. Most recently, he is completing illustrations for an upcoming graphic novel. Jon, like his family, is very active in the community. Whether he's volunteering to represent his district on a city board, marketing for a prosperous university research project, or organizing a large local arts- event-Jon has always been a proud advocate for our wonderful city. A resident of the City Council District 1, Mr. Sanchez will serve as the District 1 representative on the Board and his first term will expire March 1, 2024. |
