I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Balloon Fiesta Park Commission in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance
10-10-1.

Mr. Neil R. Jackson July 1, 2023 8601 Eagle Rock Avenue NE Albuquerque, NM 87122 Mr. Jackson is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. In additional, his daytime career is with Mountain States Constructors, Inc. which is a heavy civil contractor specializing in roadway reconstruction and rehabilitation. He has been involved with many different infrastructure projects for the City of Albuquerque as well as NMDOT and other local, state, and federal government entities. His career, association with AIBF, as well as the fact that he owns and operates a hot air balloon provides him with a global perspective of the uses out at Balloon Fiesta Park. A resident of Council District 4, Mr. Jackson will serve as the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Board of Directors representative on the Commission, replacing Ms.Cheryl Lete whose term has expired. Mr. Jackson’s first term will expire July 1, 2023. |
