I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the
Human Rights Board in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 11-3-4-1 through
11-3-6.

Mrs. Denisha Pierre December 31, 2023 8012 Fallbrook Place NW Albuquerque, NM 87120-8015 Mrs. Pierre is an attorney, mother and resident of the great city of Albuquerque. She brings with her a diverse background in the legal field, ranging from criminal justice to business law and contract drafting. She is passionate about bringing about positive change and zealously advocating for what is right. She is a leader as demonstrated by the positions she held in various associations and groups while in law school. She is a critical thinker and problem solver. She will serve faithfully and whole-heartedly on this board. A resident of Council District 1, Mrs. Pierre will replace Ms. Joan M. Yazze-Gallegos as an at-large member on the Board and her first term will expire December 31, 2023. |
