I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the Greater
Albuquerque Recreational Trails Committee in accordance with the City of Albuquerque
Ordinance 14-13-3-8.

APPOINTEE NAME TERM Mr. Michael J. Flowers, Jr June 30, 2023 7101 Esther Ave NE Albuquerque, NM 87109 Mr. Flowers is 37 years old father, husband, avid outdoors man, and the Director of office service and facility management at the state's largest law firm. He started with the company in the mail room and has moved into a leadership position by improving on existing policies and building systems and work flows that improve the department's ability to serve the company. He is also a Realtor here in the city and his company (A Better Albuquerque) was created 3 years ago to improve the lives of our citizens and create a network for community outreach for the betterment of Albuquerque. Michael is a downhill mountain biker, trials bike rider, hiker, climber and all around enjoyer of nature. He will bring passion and sensibility to the board with a true desire to keep and improve upon the city and the best use of funding to generate more convenient and habitual use of the great outdoor opportunities our city offers. |

A resident of Council District 4, Mr. Flowers will serve as the Off-Road Cyclist representative on the Committee and his first term will expire June 30, 2023. |
