Enhancement Trust Fund in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 4-2-1-3.

Guided by her beliefs in art as a gateway to learning and literacy as a pathway to empowerment,she is "the artist's editor." Currently, she is the gallery director at Tamarind Institute. Prior to joining the team at Tamarind, she held the position of administrative director of the Frederick Hammersley Foundation and was owner/director of Central Features Contemporary Art. She moved to New Mexico from Texas where she was associate director of the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts. She has edited several books and exhibition catalogues including Bridge Projects' "A Composite Leviathan" (Summer 2020) and "Phillip K. Smith III: 10 Columns" (Fall 2019); Ariane Roesch's "How to Build: a House, a Life, a Future" (Fall 2019); and Pamela Fraser's "How Color Works: Color Theory for the 21st Century" (Oxford Press, 2017). She contributed to "The Hustle Economy: Transforming Your Creativity Into a Career" (April 2016) and continues to write visual art content for magazines such as "Arts + Culture Texas" and "Edible New Mexico," having served as editor or guest editor for each. In 2007, she received her MA in Curatorial Practice from California College of the Arts and her BFA in Painting and Drawing from The Ohio State University in 2001.A resident of Council District 6, Ms. Zastudil will continue to serve as an At Large Representative and her term will expire February 1, 2023.
