ADOPTING THE FY 2021 URBAN ENHANCEMENT TRUST FUND PROGRAM AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE URBAN ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM’S PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, on March 11, 2020 Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham issued Executive Order 2020-004, Order Declaring a State of Public Health Emergency relating to the spread of COVID-19; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Urban Enhancement Committee have formulated the Urban Enhancement Art and Culture Organization Recovery Fund Program for the City of Albuquerque, in conformance with Section 4-2-1 ROA 1994; and
WHEREAS, the development of the Urban Enhancement Program describes the proposed uses of the Urban Enhancement Trust Fund earnings anticipated during the upcoming two fiscal years; and
WHEREAS, the UETF Art and Culture Organization Recovery Fund projects will significantly benefit the quality of life of the City of Albuquerque.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
ALBUQUERQUE:
Section 1. That the One-Year program, FY2021, for the Urban Enhancement projects is approved.
Section 2. That the following project funds are hereby appropriated as indicated for the project scopes below and that the organization descriptions as attached may only be amended as provided in Section 2-12-5 ROA Qualified UETF Recovery Projects include: pay local artists, local presenters or existing organizational staff as part of the project recovery scope; offer financially accessible programming to the community (i.e. free, sliding scale or pay-what-you-will, or other partially free options); offer programming appropriate for all ages, or programming with a focus on children and youth audiences.
