APPOINTEE NAME TERM

2418 Rice Ave NW
Apt A

Mrs. Teri L Neville is retired from the University of New Mexico, where she worked for over 20 years as the GIS Coordinator for Natural Heritage New Mexico. She did extensive field work in the natural environment to create computer models for rare and endangered species. After retirement, she founded an outdoor program for preK-K that is the only licensed outdoor program under CYFD for the state. She has spent over 5 years working with children in our parks, natural areas, cultural and historic sites, and museums and feels that she has a unique perspective on safe and healthy environments for children. There is a growing body of science-based research for support of children's play that has already been implemented in progressive cities across the U.S. Mrs. Teri Neville would like to be part of a group that would move Albuquerque forward by increasing safe, accessible, natural play areas for Albuquerque's families.
Mrs. Neville will represent Council District 2 on the board and his first term will expire September 30, 2022.
