ESTABLISHING FEDERAL PRIORITIES FOR THE CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE FOR FEDERAL FISCAL YEARS 2019 AND 2020 FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING CITY FEDERAL POLICY GOALS AND FEDERAL PROGRAM FUNDING.
WHEREAS, the City of Albuquerque and the Government of the United States of America share goals, missions and responsibilities; and
WHEREAS, the City of Albuquerque has for generations partnered with the Federal Government in projects and programs that improve the health, welfare and safety of the people of the United States; and
WHEREAS, the City of Albuquerque interfaces with federal programs for the purposes of improving the joint delivery of behavioral health and public safety programs, building capacity for Community Development, creating economic development for the City, and continuing the development and maintenance of the facilities that comprise the City's infrastructure and transportation systems. And that the City has identified near term priority projects, policy initiatives and longer term goals within these purposes.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE:
Section 1. CITY NEAR TERM FEDERAL PRIORITIES: the City of Albuquerque near term priorities for utilizing federal resources is as follows:
