I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for appointment to the Youth
Advisory Council in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 2-6-7-1.

Ms. Berger is an 11th grader at Bosque School and native Albuquerquean who is passionate about youth empowerment. She has attended both public and private schools in Albuquerque and an international school in Barcelona. Ms. Berger's experience this past year in Spain broadened her horizons as a global citizen and showed her a different way of life. She is networked with other student leaders citywide through the March For Our Lives campaign and was a primary organizer of the Bosque School March 14th Walkout along with Zoe Perls. In the past year, Ms. Berger has become politically engaged and is committed to remaining involved in gun reform advocacy and other issues. She enjoy singing in choir and has been selected for the all state choir every year since fifth grade. Ms. Berger also enjoy thrifting, photography, and cross-country running.

A resident of Council District 2, Ms. Berger will fill a vacancy on the board and her first term will expire May 1, 2021.
