Albuquerque Energy Council in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 14-8-5-3.

Mark has twenty-five years of professional experience working with social profit organizations in leadership positions, including eighteen years as executive director, the last five at New Mexico Wild, a statewide, grassroots membership organization dedicated to protecting New Mexico's wilderness, water and wildlife. As Executive Director of the Supportive Housing Coalition of New Mexico from 1998-2011, Mark pioneered the evidence-based practices of Permanent Supportive Housing and Housing First in New Mexico for persons experiencing homelessness. His leadership received national attention for creating innovative housing that combined mixed income populations, cutting edge sustainable "green" features, and award-winning design. Mr. Allison's projects included high profile urban infill developments reclaiming designated Brownfield sites in downtown Albuquerque and attaining LEED Platinum Certification. Mark holds bachelor's and master's degree in political science from Illinois State University.
A resident of Council District 6, Mr. Allison will serve as an at-large member on the Council, replacing Mr. Phil Sisneros, whose term has expired. His first term will expire April 30, 2021.
