Contract for BioPark Sister Cities Rose Garden Sculpture

The City of Albuquerque Cultural Services Department BioPark and the Department of Municipal Development, CIP/Public Art Program via the Albuquerque Arts Board have recommended Albuquerque artist Reynaldo "Sonny" Rivera to design, fabricate and install a bronze sculpture at the Albuquerque BioPark's Sister Cities Rose Garden.
The artist proposal was submitted to the Albuquerque Arts Board who voted unanimously to recommend the project as part of the Sister Cites Rose garden project
Funding in the amount of $42,000 from Art in Municipal Places 2007 Zoo/BioPark/Museum funds (7362080), BioPark CIP funds, and BioPark Special Revenues will pay for the Albuquerque sculpture.
